About Us

Maria Bernitsas

Maria Bernitsas is a rising high school junior at Duchesne Academy in Omaha, NE. Her interests include chemistry, history, and neuroscience. She represented Nebraska at the 2026 National Brain Bee Competition in Irvine, CA. She has received numerous Scholastic awards in writing and art and is an accomplished pianist. Her passion is to make a difference in the lives of marginalized and disadvantaged people, especially youth. Maria is trying to use her talents to improve writing and communication skills for neurodivergent people.

Marinos Bernitsas

Marinos Bernitsas is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Biomolecular Science and enjoys scientific research and serving the underserved. He is currently entering medical school and is interested in pursuing either radiology or dermatology. In his free time, he reads books, writes stories, plays ping-pong, and collects seashells.

Chris Bernitsas

Chris Bernitsas just finished his bachelor's in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He is now pursuing a master's degree in the same department. He is interested in developing technology and computer systems to help people. He is passionate about helping neurodivergent people with their writing.
